Brenda  is  the  founder  of  FemiBag,  a  company  in  the  sanitation  and  health  industry.  They  offer  a  disposal  solution  for  used  sanitary  towels.  She  got  the  idea  back  in  2017  to  develop  FemiBag  off  the  back  of  a  realization  of  just  how  inconvenient  it  was  for  her  and  other  women  to  dispose  of  tampons  and  pads  during  that  time  of  the  month.  However,  after  doing  their  first  prototype,  they  were  denied  authorization  because  of  the  material  (polythene)  of  the  bags.  This  was  however  a  blessing  in  disguise.  She  was  able  to  go  back  to  the  drawing  board  and  on  5th  October  2020  launched  a  product  that  is  environmentally  friendly.
